Create a Job

In Zamdit, jobs serve as central units that store all essential details for a role, from job descriptions to qualifications, and include customizable recruitment pipelines. These pipelines guide candidates through stages like assessments and interviews, allowing hiring teams to structure workflows efficiently. With centralized job activities, teams can enhance collaboration, track candidate progress, and leverage insights to refine recruitment strategies and improve hiring quality.

Only Advanced or Admin users can create a job, and the creator becomes the job owner. To start, click the Add Job button in the Jobs view. The job creation process involves six main steps:

  • General Details: Enter fundamental information like the job Title, Description, and Salary range. This data populates the job listing view that candidates will see.

  • Application Form: Customize the application form to gather candidate details. Choose from over 30 predefined fields, or add custom fields that might be used to pre-qualify candidates or automatically disqualify those who don’t meet specific criteria.

  • Pipeline: Configure the stages of the hiring process, with each stage tailored to include relevant elements such as questionnaires, assessments, and interviews based on its purpose. Use available templates to streamline the setup.

  • Hiring Team & Permissions: Define the hiring team and set permissions for each role within the job. Specific permissions may also be assigned at the pipeline stage level.

  • Recruitment Sources: Organize candidate sources with three sections: default job URLs for viewing and applying, external recruiter management, and additional sourcing channels.

  • Third-party Email Templates: Customize email templates for automated communications with external parties (e.g., recruiters, references). Unlike candidate emails set within each stage, all third-party templates are managed here.

The job editor also includes a read-only Overview section, displaying a summary of job fields, the application form, pipeline, and permissions, offering a comprehensive snapshot of the job setup.
